Sheena Chohan is an Indian Actress, a renowned model with a theatre and performing art background.
This stunning beauty hails from cultural city of Kolkata and has won the coveted Lakme Miss Kolkata Title. She also won Cinderella Beauty and Talent- Kolkata. This was her start to stardom and since then the graph has been uplifting.
Sheena was handpicked by Sushmita Sen to participate in “Miss India Universe -I am She” where she won the “I Am Voice” title for her effortless and expressive connect with the audience. It also proves that connecting to the masses and audience at any given point comes naturally to Sheena, thus her roles in films or ad films make it easier for the audience to accept her character.

Apart from theatre, where she did plays like Shakespeare’s “A midsummer night’s dream” and “Adhe adhure” with thespian Shyamanand Jalan, she moved to Delhi with Asmita Theatre group and did a play “ Ek mamooli aadmi” with eminent theatre director Arvind Gaur.
She started her film career with a Malayalam blockbuster “The Train” directed by National Award winning director Jayaraj. She was cast opposite south superstar Mammootty. Sheenas exuberant performance in the film was applauded and given due credit.
This Punjabi-Bengali siren has recently done 2 films with Buddhadeb Dasgupta named “Mukti” and “Patralekha” based on Rabindranath Tagores Poems.
Vibrant and ecstatic is what Sheena was called when she was chosen as the face and host of the 1st Season of BPL- Bangladesh Premier League where she garnered a lot of adulation, appreciation while she connected with the audience with immense fervor. Here she earned the title of “the BPL girl”.
Her recent international film- Ant Story, was a world Premier at the Dubai International Film Festival.

Sheena wore a traditional gown by Karieshma Sarma as she represented India at the International Festival which was opened yesterday by stars such as Hugh Grant and Nicole Kidman. Sheena’s Best Actress and Best Film categories are being judged by, among others, super star Korean actress Gong Li and 3 time Oscar winning Director Lone Scherfig. Ant Story is written and Directed by Asia Pacific Screen Award Winner Mostofa Sarwar Farooki who will accompany Sheena on the Red Carpet for the Award Ceremony on 22nd June which will be hosted by, among others John Woo and Jackie Chan.[/alert]
